Dandelion (November 2, 2004)
Today in Alamo, CA.

I was thinking to go to San Francisco tonight, but I forgot I needed to go to a conference in Walnut Creek this afternoon. I managed to take a few shots on my way home before dark.

It's election day today in the US. One thing I still don't understand -- 100,000 Iraqis have died as a result of the war, and who can prove to me any one of these lives is any less worthy of an American's life?

Why do 50% of American population still not see through the blatant lies? That makes no sense. A more scary thought is maybe they do. I would be OK if Americans think the war will bring them security; I would even be OK if they go to war for oil; however, I would be deeply troubled if they use religion as a moral justification in their minds and through their unspoken protocols.

No matter what, this is the beginning of the end, much like this dandelion, except that the seeds are not finding soil.
